Fixed. I have acronym overload …
At 4am I have a car taking me to
RJFK for a flight to San Diego for the AASLD, the premier global conference of liver researchers. The acronym is too much so everyone calls it ‘The Liver Meeting’ - including the organizers themselves. -

Does anybody else find it darkly humorous that Trump is paying his debt to a man that regained his recent prominence by railing against the very vaccine that Trump was instrumental in developing l, and proudly took credit for, referring to it as the Trump Vaccine?

No. Nothing dark about it at all.
It's fucking hysterical.

Karla and her friends - “It’s so exciting that somebody so devoted to nutrition is going to head up Health and Human Services!”
Me - “Nutrition?! You mean the guy that got brain worms from eating undercooked and unregulated bear meat?”
It’s nice to have the room to myself, now.

RFK jr. may or, may not pass Senate scrutiny. He has the reputation of being something of a kook.

lol.
I always think the S stands for Society. But one of the As stands for Association. It’s the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases. Or Assload for short.

One thing RFK proposed has my full support: Eliminating drug advertising on television.

I read it "Assholed", which is no better.

To be fair, maybe Trump nominated the late RFK for NIH, and his son RFK Jr for HHS? As @Horace says, I'll withhold judgement for now.

Though, I’ll remind you that the former HHS Head thought boys could be girls and vice versa. I’m will to take increased scrutiny and study of potential harmful effects of vaccines if it gets rid of people wanting to chemically castrate boys and girls.

Very valid point. People on the left don't realize their shock at what RFK Jr has said is a similar shock to those of us who hear people honestly think men can give birth.

One question that keeps coming up, is why do Europeans live six years longer than Americans? Is a partial reason the food additives they ban vs. the same ones that American companies can use?
I think that's Kennedy's wheelhouse...Questions like the above. Can his leadership result in better health policy and health studies for Americans?
