Flawless Campaign
-
Fox put together one of those things that Tucker used to do where they show a dozen or more liberal media types all using the same word or phrase to describe some event.
Today the phrase was "flawless campaign".
As in Ms. Harris ran a flawless campaign.
Why bother?

Young people are getting pretty wise to this. Some of the older ones are starting to...

Gettin' pretty close to that sell-by date, there, traditional journalism.

Perhaps her biggest mistake was not even trying to differentiate herself from Biden which meant - "like how things are now - vote for me.."
Yes. One of the hosts on The View threw her the softball "what is something you would have done differently from Biden". It is inexcusable that her answer was "nothing". To not be prepared with an answer that sounds satisfying, is a level of incompetence from her campaign staff that would be unbelievable, if we weren't already aware that even agencies like the secret service are absurdly incompetent. (Of course, a talented politician could have made something up on the spot, but even an untalented pawn like her should have been prepared.)

Exactly. People have been consistently unhappy with the Biden regime. The fact that she failed to be different - even saying that she couldn't think of any way she would be different - was fatal.

Oh, the flawless campaign ended up $20MM in debt.
With all that money?
WTF!

So she was asked how things will change, by Colbert, and he even loaded the question with the notion that the electorate is really looking for a good answer to that question. Then she face plants. But she was asked that same question on the View, and face planted there too. One of those interviews came first. Doesn’t really matter which one. One of them came second. After she had failed to answer the most important question of her campaign. She didn’t use that time to prepare a good answer. Her campaign didn’t prepare her with an answer, during that time.
So if you want a conspiracy theory, here it is. The whole Dem apparatus tried to lose this election.
But no, actually, it’s just that the depths of human incompetence run yet deeper than anybody could have imagined.

And yet she still ran on “Turn the Page” and change.

They were unburdened of the $2 Billion.

I didn't think the campaign was the problem. The problem was Biden leaving it too late to drop out so that the primaries appeared bogus, and then they stuck in a candidate who had zero personal charm or charisma, and as far as I could tell not much in the way of real beliefs.
Other than that, it was great.
-
The problem wasn’t either campaign. It was the three years preceding it.
-
Interesting note from the exit polls was while 35% of voters listed “Democracy” as their number one concern, Trump actually won those voters in swing states.

I don't see how this is provable one way or the other, but it seems dubious to believe the campaign didn't matter.

That is interesting
