To point out that they don’t need a secretary for a department that is going away.
Oh, and the 80 hours a week thing? They should be looking for people that can do the work in 20 hours per week. Much more efficient. Set an example, DOGE…

That sounds like fanfic. Why would Bongino leave being the heir apparent for Rush to take a government service role like that?
I could see him advising, but not leaving his budding media gig.

Listened to part of Bongino's podcast yesterday...He emphasized he had talked to no one in the Trump organization. And then he said something that surprised me... "If the man asks, you go."
The guy has the #3 podcast of late. It's been top ten for quite some time. His radio program is carried by 350+ stations. I still can't see him walking away from it.
I did learn how he gets some of his SS info...Sean Curran is a long-time friend of Bongino's. Curran heads Trump's detail.
Curran may be the pick.

Florida AG is elected. She won two elections, serving 2011-2019. She seems smart, worked against human trafficking in Qatar, and media savvy leveraging FoxNews... she is being rewarded for supporting Trump during his false election fraud claims and other trials. So she's better than Gaetz for sure, but still a bit of a sycophant.
