Yeah. You watch one minute, and it counts.
I watched about 45 minutes (and fell asleep). How does that count.
OTOH, does this correlate to "traditional" platforms? If 20 millions watch 60 minutes on youtube for 5 minutes, does it count as 20 million views?

It counts as:
- 1 download
- 45 minutes added to the show's total view time
- 45 minutes of view time within the buckets of the first 7 (and 30) days
- ???? more or fewer minutes as of X minutes past publish, compared to the channel average
- the top ???? performing episode for the channel, ranked by unique downloads
There isn't one single metric.

Watched a short clip of Rogan discussing the interview with some other guys and how he would talk with Harris, if she comes on.
I'm having trouble finding that clip this morning. Anybody seen it?

"Kamala really decided that getting booed by Beyoncé fans was a better move than doing Rogan."

It's slowed down.
Right at 34M. Wonder what the Spotify numbers look like?

Clear headed calculations of Kamala going on Rogan will admit that there's a good chance she comes out of it looking worse than before.

Broader thought - Trump is right to be on the podcast circuit. Traditional TV media aren't platforming him like they were in 2016 / 2020. They're losing their audience anyway.
Podcasts have a huge audience now - bigger than TV, and podcasts are a media where narrative skill and story telling matters. If you're a boring person, it'll come through.
While I didn't find his podcast with Joe interesting from a learning/policy perspective - Trump knows how to keep a conversation going, so he's a successful podcast guest in that sense.

Heard who he credited during the podcast for pushing him to do that type of media?

The "very smart and tall" Barron Trump.

Correct.
Barron started in the campaign coordinating their Tik-Tok stuff. He's now involved in most of the new media discussions.

I guess he was involved in getting Tony Hinchcliffe to perform a set at the MSG rally. Probably not a great move, but then I'm no political strategist.

Didn't watch the video.
How many of Trump rally attendees were bused in?

LOL I highly doubt that was their only escape. Although if so, it would make a fun liability/negligence injury lawsuit.

Of course not.
I read (somewhere) that the fence was erected to keep the pro-palestinian crowd out of the rally.

Not sure Kamala wants the optics of "fence jumping" associated with her, given her stellar border track record.
