Somebody shut this idiot up

If you elect somebody who resembles a character out of a Batman movie, you've got to accept that some people aren't going to like him very much.

And yet the other side still hasn’t been able to put fort a better candidate. Astounding.

If that's true then you need better humans who would have voted for that better candidate. Your issue isn't with Trump, it's with all the other humans.

You miss my point entirely. I was addressing calling the man an idiot, which he clearly is not. Any individual act can be assessed on its own merits.
Well that’s a philosophical question. How many individual acts of idiocy does a person have to commit before they’re can be labeled an idiot wholesale?

I may have seen or heard Mr. Trump act like an idiot, but I can't remember it. I would be very surprised, he is not an idiot.
I think this is a word use problem. Jerk, might work if you feel that way or impolite but not idiot.
He just isn't an idiot. Check your word use.

@Mik Presidents are elected based on showmanship, charisma, storytelling ability, among others. He’s got talents there.
Governing is based on other traits.
Yes he needed certain talents to get elected - but he can prove himself an idiot on dimensions on display when you’re in the job.

@Copper if you tweet about your corona virus tv ratings, not only are you an idiot, but that fits my definition of a fucking tone deaf moron.
But hey - it’s subjective.
OK, yes this is a word use problem.
That post actually introduces several other problems with the words used.
Subjective really isn't the right word either.
