If Trump wins

Another conclusion...If Trump wins, Kamala is through in national politics.

- Do you think Kamala certifies the election?
Yes.
- Do you think the Dems in the House try to block it?
A few symbolically will vote against.
- Do you think there’s another mob trying to stop the process?
Not like 2021. There will be protests but no one is breaking into the capitol violently.

- Do you think Jon commits harakiri?
- Do you think Ax forswears Cheetos?
- Do you think TG finally buys liniment for saddle sores?
Do not involve innocent Cheetos in this, infidel.
Don't worry, @Mik. As I said a few posts up, even though I myself don't like Cheetos, I will defend your right to stuff your [whatever] in Cheetos regardless.
Grace is not your middle name.

Obviously, the Capitol will be better secured. There will be no more plausible deniability that a bunch of rentacops who will commit suicide if they are called upon to do their jobs and maybe get some owies in the process, are adequate to the task of defending our very democracy.
-
He would have let them in, but he also would have shot each and every one of them that got violent.
-
And it will be an eternal mystery how, through all the violence of Jan 6, only one rioter was shot in self-defense, and that was a female who hadn't laid a hand on anybody. The practical effect of those 1000s of violent assaults was so minimal as to be almost miraculous. I mean except for the suicides in the coming days and weeks. Definitely the violence and terror, while producing scant actual injuries and only one discharged firearm, caused those suicides.

The Dems have nothing to hide and will be watching even more closely the election than the real vote stuffers. But in the end, if he manages to swing the swing states, it will go down very much like 2016, without much ado at all. That's how decent people act when they accept a loss. Little rebel fires in assorted cities would pale in comparison to the other election result.

and speaking of election results, isn't it about time to play a game of prediction? Certainly, 99 percent of voters already know which way they are going to go, so let's see all of your predictions for the electoral college this election. The link is an interactive electoral map that begins with predictive results in most states and then identifies the swings. It tabulates the electoral votes as you manipulate each state to your prediction. As there are many options for each state, we must only use two options for this game, solid red or solid blue for each state. I will reply to this post with my prediction. Let's see all of yours. Post your screen shot. This is the fun time!

I see Harris sweeping swing states, except NC. I see her snagging Florida with Texas lost by a nosebleed. At this point in an election, I always have been able to feel the mood in our country. The very worst thing a person can do is to pay heed to the daily polls. They are fools gold. This has the feeling of no doubt. I saw Hillary losing and have predicted correctly all other elections in my lifetime except for Nixon/McGovern in 72. Boy was I wrong on that one. But the Dems don't need Texas just yet. It's enough. It's staggering and it pulls all the ammunition out of Trump's rig gun. A decimation for the ages.

@Jolly don't worry. I would never ever think to mark LA in the Blue. Although I do love the song by Linda, Blue Bayou. It really shows off her talent. And was there a better song made with a pedal steel guitar solo? Classic. No rock/pop/country music ever topped the 70's.

I would like to add something I think is important. The MAGA Right despises the mainstream news and has fallen in line with the "fake news" narrative fully. I live in a Red wedge of Blue California and 90 percent of my friends are strict Republicans. They all have totally ostriched themselves over January 6th and for good reason right? It's been almost 4 years with no accountability handed down. And as Copper and the likes have always said, that day was just a sightseeing visit more than anything right? Insurrection? egads man! are you crazy?
I just wanted to let people here know that these people who are devoted to Trump through thick and thin have the most primitive notion of what trouble he is in and believe that all of these indictments are either all false weaponization or have all been dropped completely. They do not even let enter into their brain the notion that this man may be a traitor to our country. It's all been whitewashed over time. Right wing propaganda has done its job amazingly and have redirected the most troubling issue in America to the border. People voting for Trump have no thought process in their minds that he may have committed traitorous acts against this country. They are that bubbled. I find it incredible. Do you all get that sense in your communities? And as more and more October surprise come to light, for instance, Trump's communications of at least 7 instances with Putin during Biden's reign, which all violate the Logan Act, come to light, will it matter how loud mainstream media shouts it out to the country? Is it not clear that yes, there is a Russia Russia Russia? Listen to his rallies. He all but says his first act is to pull back from Ukraine and let Russia have at it. That's how he will fix this fight in 24 hours. Yeah. Where is my sigh emoji? -

Life will go on. The sun will come up. Dog population in Springfield will increase. Stock market will continue its upward trend, (until the normal economic cycle results in a temporary downward trend, which probably happen regardless of who is President), etc.
