Didn't we have an article recently discussed about how US colleges were getting very "One Dimensional"? I agree that people should not be so focused on one skill to the exclusion of other ones.

This book argues something similar. Lots of examples of successful polymaths (and argues that successful people tend to be multi-faceted).

You can't spell "triumph" without "hi, Trump".

The article lacks analytical rigor. The author should support his claims with statistically significant data rather than mere arguments based on a few exemplars.

Does the book have analytical rigor?

I think you may be confusing Renaissance People with Renaissance Fair people.

Pretty sure I know the woman on the scooter. If it's who I think it is, she's no rando.

That's not an issue where statistics is applicable. Sometimes an analytical argument is the best you can get.
