I'll watch
One candidate will made me cringe, then the other, then I can't stand it anymore.
So I will stop watching.
Then maybe 30 minutes later I'll go back to it.
Either one could have a huge breakdown. If they do, I would hate to miss it.

My plane lands at 8. With baggage claim and customs I should be in a cab by 8:45. It’s about an hour home. I’ll catch the first 45+ minutes.
Once I get home I’ll have better things to attend to. It is my birthday after all.

My mother always talked about avoiding things that got her "worked up" - the debate qualifies. I too, will probably watch a couple minutes of it" - be sickened - and retreat to something more comforting - and see what the pundits say.

I do wonder if it isn’t time to update the debates. The fact is the President doesn’t administer alone, and in today’s world decisions aren’t on oral arguments alone. Open it up. Let them have access to technology to present their proposals with actual references and analysis. Let them be able to provide evidence for their claims or rebuttals…

The last civilized and substantial debate was 2012. It’s a sad Commentary.

Each candidate will have a healthy supply of gotchas, supplied by a huge team that has been working on them for years.

Harris's smirking is almost as annoying as Trump's tie.

I hit the wall at 12 minutes.
Maybe I'll go back for a few more minutes later.
Maybe not

You're right.

If it’s a tie, Trump wins. Trump seems coherent so far. Kamala just suggested people are bored at his rallies. That got him going.

Why is David Muir fact-checking Trump in real time?
