The guy was flapping his arms while in the air. Wonder if that's just instinct, and why that's the instinctual thing to do (as opposed to, say, hugging your knee like when most people do the cannonball jump into a pool).

Just balance, mostly. Instinctual, but for balance... not flying. LOL
