It's been a while since we left Tapatalk (Yay!).
Just curious what do people like/dislike about our new web-based platform that Klaus (and others) have put so much work into.
What I like:
No profanity filter.
Drag 'n' drop pictures (as long as they're not too big!).
Overall stability.
Ease of use (once you get used to the new features.
We seem to be getting fewer trolls.
Ease of embedding youtube and twitter (most of the time, LOL).What I don't like:
PMs are now no longer threaded by topic, but long chats.
No ability to embed pictures in PMs.
Not able to increase size of fonts for posting . I'm sure Ax misses the ability to color fonts as well.Overall, it's, IMO, a positive.
What else am I missing?

Dont like the smilies, plus mine are not working st the time. Did not know I could drag and drop pics. Thats nice.
Overall i like it better.

I like it. It’s fast, stable, and easy to use on my iPhone, which is what I use 90% of the time.

I also use an iPhone for 90% of my time. That leaves about 2.5 hours per day for sleep. The sleep is refreshing, but still sad, in that it is time away from my iPhone.

It seems to me that every year and every platform change, the text has gotten smaller and blurrier. That’s my only complaint.

Every post with incorrect ideas in it increases the total post count by 2, because someone has to correct the bad ideas. Every post with good ideas increases the total post count by only 1 because good ideas need no rebuttal.

Apparently there's some discussion about this and many other issues related to the chat frontend in the nodebb community. I haven't investigated the latest state, though. If you find something along these lines in the nodebb forum let me know and I can try it.
