          This is also one of these cases where...

          A) this guy was a known idiot to the law
          B) I'm not sure he could legally possess a firearm

            What I don’t get is why the guy would send his family home and stay himself. Wouldn’t most people apologize (perhaps while rolling your eyes) then leave?

              Hard to know. At least he got his family out of there, or maybe he thought the guy would follow them if they all left. This guy looks exactly like a neighbor of mine (the guy who was shot), down to the two kids and their family "bluey" costume that my neighbor wore. This guy seems like a great guy, too... what a shame.
