Date Night…

Lucas is back for the weekend and offered to watch Finley for Karla and I to go out last night. It was a bit of a late start as a family afternoon at the pool turned into an early evening at the pool as we didn’t realize the HOA was having a resident evening at the pool with games, snow cones, and such…
So we left for a late dinner at 9, then went to a late showing of Deadpool/Wolverine (GREAT movie, BTW, first real laugh out loud at a movie theater that I can remember). Since we got out of the movie at 1AM, we decided to get a quick cup of coffee and dessert at a restaurant still open. We got home at 2 expecting everyone to be asleep, we pull in to see all the lights downstairs on, but the upstairs lights are off… We figure Lucas is up watching a movie…
Nope.. Lucas is asleep, but Finley is sitting on the stairs playing with the cats…

Finley had gone to bed at 10 (a bit late, but whatever), Luke at 1. Sometime between Luke going to bed and us getting home, Finley woke up (he’s in a stage where he’s coming to us at 2-3AM wanting to sleep in our room) looked for us, and decided to play with the cats. My guess is he wasn’t up more than 5 minutes…
