    Imagine if DeSantis never ran against Trump, but steadfastly supported him and let Trump take some credit for some of his anti-woke stuff. (As his inspiration for example).

    I strongly suspect he’d have been the shoe-in VP pick.

        Disagree. I think there would be too many actual policy issues and disagreements. Trump likes the title of being Conservative. He likes the control it gives him in the party, but his policies aren’t conservative. He’s very close to Bill Clinton in 1992.

          There continues to be pervasive mainstream messaging that Trump represents a “far right takeover of the GOP”. Policy-wise, that’s just nonsense.

          Education is extremely important.
