I mean, DEI is everywhere in this election.

Kamala was selected by Biden because she was a black female

Since there was no primary election for Kamala, she is being appointed to the nomination without ever having won a single delegate. Ever. She was selected as a Black Woman. That’s pure DEI.

One of the single biggest influences of this election was the attempted assassination of DJT. The failures of the SS were riddled with DEI failures.

So if Trump wins, is this a big setback for the Equity movement?

She has higher melanin levels in her skin, but she is Asian (Indian) and Irish-Caribbean. A true Asian American Mickey Mouse!

      Good Lord, I hope so.

Tyrus had an interesting observation last night. In fact, several of them. Since he used to do private security and ran some small teams, he at least has a little first-hand knowledge.

      1. Never hire small people as immediate bodyguards, or even people shorter than the principal. His observation was that the female Secret Service agent did a great job covering Trump's thighs. The rest of him, not so much. She had no business doing that job.
      2. If you are security, you're getting paid to be uncomfortable. Doesn't matter if it's hot, cold, the roof is too hot or too steep. That you always have to face the crowd. Deal with it.
      3. If the principal is safe, DO NOT LET HIM UP UNTIL THE SITUATION IS NEUTRALIZED. If you have to move him out of the hot box (Tyrus' term), do so quickly, in a full shield and get him in the vehicle and out of there fast. He pointed to Reagan's assassination attempt and how fast Reagan was hustled out of there.

My previous predictions were wrong, so ignore this... but:

It seems likely Trump will win, which means he beat a white woman, and now a brown woman. Hopefully in 2028 Vance picks a brown woman (Haley?) latino (Rubio?) black man (Scott?), but probably will pick DeSantis.

My point is... Trump probably wins which doesn't help the wHiTe MaLe PriViLeDgE! headline.

No, hopefully Vance gets his ass handed to him in the primaries. I thought you were a conservative?

I think the country is starting to value competence over gender or color.

The Vance pick was definitely the final nail in the coffin of Reaganism.

                Welcome to the new GOP.

Oh all I'm saying is if Trump/Vance wins this election, it'll be Vance that leads the GOP ticket in 2028. Like... without a doubt in the world.

Vance is very much pro government intervention in trade/business. Big regulation guy. Also pro-union and anti-free market. Wall St is the boogeyman, and he not only wants trade tariffs against China and Russia, he wants trade tariffs against every other country. His current views are counter to the very principles he espoused in his book.

From the speech as well as multiple other sources.

Shapiro has done a few nice breakdowns on Vance’s policies, but he’s trying to be polite about his disagreements with Vance, but he’s detailed some of it.

We're in a different place than we were under Reagan. Nippon steel is trying to buy U.S. Steel. We are dependent on foreign nations for our computer chips, energy and raw materials.

                              Strategically, we suck.

We've got to do something. I'm open to suggestions.

I think where there are similarities are things like deregulation in many areas, tax cuts, lessening of government intrusion in many areas and a rearmed and reformed military.
