Our weather people sounded pretty apocalyptic - and sure enough, we retreated from the living room to the basement when the wind reached the point where we thought the front windows might go.

After the all clear - mostly tree branches down by us including in front of our house, blocking the street - but I suspect there will be worse damage elsewhere. Rain is still coming down. Hopefully, we can avoid flooding.

        Yup. Tornado warnings here.

Wind knocked my basil over last night. Grr.

Well, looks like we got out of town just in time then. Spent a long weekend with the fam on a last minute trip to Chicago, and kept thinking...."Where's the effing wind?!" Surprisingly good place to get some runs in, but yeah, a little cross breeze would have been appreciated.

Hopefully just minor clean up from the storm on your end.
