George Clooney now says he should step down. How fucking pompous arrogant Democratic of him.

It's an interesting point, actually. Biden won the primaries. He is the choice of the people, because democracy, right?

Removing him from the platform sound (what's that word....) fascist to me.

Too bad they didn't have Democrat primary debates before anyone "voted" for Biden. You know, because it was Biden, Dean Phillips, or Mickey Mouse.

Too bad the system is so front loaded. I'm not for going back to smoke-filled rooms, but I do propose a couple of changes:

                  1. Primaries need to be held within 90 days of the party's convention.
                  2. Delegates are only bound for the first round of voting.
                  3. There shall be no Super Delegates.
                  4. If there is no winner on the first round, candidates can be nominated from the floor or the party's Executive Committee. Delegates will then vote on the nominations. If no majority winner, the top three nominees will be voted on again. If no majority winner, the top two will be voted on.

“Cry havoc and let slip the DOGE of war!”

And the primary should be handled on the same day, nationwide.

                        Declare it a national holiday.

Do the same for Election Day.

My only concern is I wonder how many people would view that as a four day weekend for trips. You take the Monday and there you go, 4 days vacation.

I've heard some people vacation on Memorial Day instead of recognize our fallen heroes, for example.
