The Republican Party concerning its platform:

    https://prod-cdn-static.gop.com/media/documents/RESOLUTION_REGARDING_THE_REPUBLICAN_PARTY_PLATFORM.pdf

Basically the RNC resolved to not adopt any new platform in 2020. So it's either the 2016 platform continues to be in effect, or the GOP is not a party with no platform.

The resolution was attached to the 2016 platform, so may be they mean for the 2016 platform to continue to be in effect. Of course, in the 2016 platform, the GOP has some rather awkward bits, like multitude of grievances against the "current administration."

And Biden’s speech mirrored if not plagiarized his 2008 speech. Yawn,

As a democratic exercise, the Democrats as a party went through deliberations and came out telling the world what they stand for. The Republicans this time around not only skipped that exercise, but also passed a resolution saying any attempt to deliberate on party platform will be ruled “out of order.” The Republican Party is at a point where they cannot even tolerate anyone asking “what do we stand for.” The most charitable thing one can say with regards to the Republican Party is that they are still stuck in 2016, or that they have no platform — a party that stands for nothing and has no principle.

It's amazing how you're able to flip things completely backward to reality and then continue to think you should be taken seriously.

So, is Jerry Falwell, Jr. still speaking at the Republican National Convention? Or is he just gonna sit in the corner and watch?

Wrong convention, if he wants to see the American public get screwed...

I imagine he will switch parties. The Dems will surely turn their back on him.

Well one could argue that the family he was born into is a mess but this one loves him. Take that Mary and Maryanne Trump.

You Trump bashers and democrats might as well just accept it - there's a train coming, and it's going to rip Biden and the Socialists a new ass hole.

                            Yep.

There has been no courage necessary to publicly associate with leftward politics for quite some time. It's why notions such as "if you want to know how you would have felt and acted during the civil rights movement, it's how you felt and acted during the George Floyd protests", are so silly and self-serving. I just heard that one this morning.

                            Education is extremely important.

Hmmm ... I thought Lara Trump (Eric Trump's spouse) is also scheduled to speak at the RNC. I guess her speaking slot is not considered "key" enough for inclusion in that graphic. 🤷

                                Kellyanne Conway is speaking now.
Her planned departure from the White House at the end of the month apparently does not preclude her from speaking at the RNC.
