With Oprah as running mate, she would be unstoppable.

Is she proud of her country now?

Michelle Obama leads Biden, Harris in matchup against Trump in latest post-debate poll

The poll found that 56% of registered voters think President Biden should drop out of the race

Former first lady Michelle Obama is the leading candidate to take on former President Trump in 2024, according to a new poll conducted after last week's presidential debate.

A Reuters/Ipsos poll asked respondents who they would like to see take on Trump on the general election ballot amid calls to replace the current nominee, and President Biden was bested by both the former first lady and his own vice president.

When asked who they would vote for in a race against Trump, the poll found that Obama was the only Democrat to secure enough votes to beat the former president on the general election ballot.

In the hypothetical matchup, the former first lady led Trump by 11 percentage points, receiving 50% of the vote over the former president, who was the choice candidate of 39% of respondents.

I think such polls would represent a high water mark of her popularity, should she enter the race.

The later Biden waits to drop out, should he ever do so, the more a feeling of betrayal there will be amongst the electorate. If it smells like a bad faith rug pull, it will be considered so by anybody not already decided.

          Education is extremely important.

The pressure for him to drop out is peaking this week I think... if he doesn't do it in the next week, the pressure will fade away and people will just deal with the Biden vs Trump matchup.

Thought it interesting that only three governors (out of 20+) came out to speak yesterday, with Hochul being the only one saying Biden was staying in the race.

Yeah. I think the polls reflect nostalgia for 2010.

She does have the benefit of not being Trump, so that gives her 45%
