I imagine the dog was trained to do that, but who knows.

We recently took one of our dogs in for a surgery. While he was at the vet and we were back home, his step brother waited by the front door. I've only seen him do that when one of his humans are gone, but we were both home.

    I was wondering the same.

    I trust he's OK?

He is still in pain but will be fine, thanks. We had a mass removed from around his butt area. Usually they are not cancerous, but it's being biopsied.

        I hope he's fine.

Glad to hear that you believe that your dog will be okay! That is good!

Hachikō would meet Ueno at Shibuya Station every day after his commute home. This continued until May 21, 1925, when Ueno died of a cerebral hemorrhage while at work. From then until his death on March 8, 1935, Hachikō would return to Shibuya Station every day to await Ueno's return.

Did you notice the man in the video cut the chicken with scissors?

This brings up a very important topic.

Do you cut foot with scissors?

I never had until we had a visitor who cut slices of pizza for their kid with scissors. HOT DAMN it was so much easier than using a pizza cutter. I have since learned it's very normal in some cultures to use scissors to cut food, instead of knives.

@89th I have a couple of pairs of kitchen shears. They're handy.

Like knives, there are good ones and bad ones. My best ones are Cutco, but you can find decent ones cheaper than that.

They give you scissors at those seafood-by-the-pound places.

Now, for something related, but different...

If you have a Harbor Freight in town, drop in and buy a couple of these:

                    https://www.harborfreight.com/hand-tools/saws-cutting-tools/scissors/multipurpose-scissors-47877.html

No, they're not the best and they ain't heavy duty. But they are surprisingly good for what they are and so cheap you chunk them without tears if they break or dull up.

I have. I thought it was quite good but sad.
