Some cover band is at an outdoor concert. Kid raises a sign asking if he can play with them.

    Magnificence ensues.

The saying, "Lite is just one damn thing after another," is a gross understatement. The damn things overlap.

Bloody hell that was great. The kid was on cloud 9, will have NO trouble getting one of those girls as a girlfriend later... what an awesome performance.

He’s good. I think it speaks to the wealth of resources available today for kids who want to learn how to do something. Wonderful.

Not only that, but he kept time!

That was also excellent. Access to videos like this is one of the better outcomes of the internet.

On a related note, if you're unaware, the Foo Fighters (rock band since the late 90's), let my Dave Grohl (one of the last true rock stars... can play all the instruments, was the drummer for Nirvana before Kurt Cobain died, and rock hero as he calls out folks like Taylor Swift for not really playing live music)...

ANYWAY, the Foo Fighters drummer died a few years ago. Here they are at a tribute concert playing one of their more famous songs and the drummer is... the deceased drummer's son. Pretty cool, and I'd imagine extremely cathartic.

I got slight vibes from the first one that it was prepared in advance, but I could be wrong. Good playing in any case.

                Education is extremely important.

@89th Shane was fantastic. He gives me chills. He’s so much like his dad. I’ve watched this before. He got an award for that performance as I recall.
Speaking of Taylor (Shane’s dad), I love Foo Fighters .. also the best fan invite up on stage ever IMO has to be this with Monkey Wrench):
