One would think he would know he has a full time target on his back (Which he earns knowingly) and is smarter than that but some people just think the law doesn’t apply to them.

Not really, but it is another nail in the coffin. Trump had already been applying pressure and the Mexicans had been making some modest efforts.

In that sense, yes, the Mexicans are helping to pay for the wall, real or virtual.

A year old piece but after what we've learned about the NRA and Bannon it's worth revisiting.

Actually, not that big of a deal. This stuff has always existed and will exist as long as money can influence politics.

It's not unique to either side of the aisle.

Why would he say, "the worst thing is to be arrested on a Chinese billionaire's yacht." ?

That's exactly where I would like to be, when I'm finally arrested. Better than being arrested in a homeless shelter or something.

These people don't make sense, they just don't know what it takes to be rich.

After a few weeks of cajoling by Kelly. Trump agreed only when he undercut his North Korea position in an interview.

Trump doesn’t have a good record of draining swamp dwellers as long as they remain loyal to him.

You lost the argument about Trump draining the swamp, so you deflect onto the other guy.

Whether or not Donald Trump has drained the swamp has nothing to do with Joe Biden.

He hired Steve Bannon, a guy who even looks like a freaking troll, and then he fires him when he realises he's a complete twat, and this is swamp draining?

I apologize if this was answered and missed the answer, but what does draining the swamp mean?

My "interpretation" is that people talk about it as if it means getting rid of long time political people in Washington DC.

Is this correct or is there another meaning?

Under Trump, the Federal workforce has only risen a little over 0.2%, one of the slowest increases in many years. Some departments have less people now, than when he took office. Foggy Bottom has lost over 2000 employees. The VA has had multiple changes. Education has lost employees. Most of the employee gains have been in the SBA.

Some of the record is mixed. Part of the reason the Russian Hoax gained the traction it did, was because Trump didn't replace some people as fast as he could have. Also, as many have learned before him, sometimes you need bureaucrats to deal with bureaucrats.

Now, please defend anything Biden has ever done to help drain the swamp.

It's supposed to mean 'root out corruption'. It seems to have been corrupted to mean 'reduce the number of people in government', which isn't really the intent.

Apparently, Mussolini also used the phrase, so it's not unique to recent times.

Whether or not Donald Trump has drained the swamp has nothing to do with Joe Biden.

He hired Steve Bannon, a guy who even looks like a freaking troll, and then he fires him when he realises he's a complete twat, and this is swamp draining?

So, he's not drained the swamp at all.

As far as Biden goes, and this election goes, you know when you watch a really great sporting event, and it's so, so close, and both sides have given their all, and fought with honour and distinction, in the most sportsmanlike way possible, and you find yourself thinking 'I wish both sides could win!' - obviously, it's not possible, but still, it's a dream.

In this case, I wish both sides could lose.

                                        I was only joking

He has partially drained the Swamp. He has not been totally successful in personnel, but he has made progress. He has made more progress in regulations.

Again, defend Biden, which I notice you are not doing.
