Shapiro's Podcast June 6
-
Much of it was devoted to D-Day. Something that stuck with me ...Shapiro played part of Reagan's speech where he referenced the question, Where do we find such men?
We find them where we've always found them, in our villages and towns, on our city streets, in our shops, and on our farms.
Shapiro's point was that before we had great men, we had good men. Men mostly born in the teens and twenties, men born to two parents and raised by two parents (94%). Men who believed in God (96%) and attended church (74%). These men believed in something bigger than themselves, they believed in family, they believed in a defined right and wrong even though they weren't saints. Men with a common hardening by the Great Depression.
