Actually...Heard one from Trump/Leary today, that is genius.
Trump wants to reopen ANWAR. Leary agrees, but wants a 6% surcharge on each barrel with the monies going toward the national debt (and nothing else).
First thing I've heard in YEARS that had anything to do with paying the debt.
Agreed, that sounds good. Such an approach could be applied in a few areas like that... focus on debt (and SS). Less (or at least smarter) spending, easier tax revenue code. Let's do it.
