I guess it has become a big thing for "influencers" to promote these on social media. But Tik Tok has started to ban them.

Why? CCP wants Americans to be fat?

Its the same as all other miracle weight loss schemes. Works as long as you stay on it. Go off, the weight comes back.

Except this works much better than the previous “miracle drugs”, and so far has been a lot safer than the others too.

Don't get me wrong, these types of drugs will be around forever (because the world is becoming fatter every year.... food, convenience, technology, etc) and will make a lot of money but....

Yes, weight comes back once you get off the drug. 60% of folks don't last 12 weeks, some say because of the initial side effects of nausea and vomiting....

I'm glad it works for some people but old fashioned better eating and increased caloric output does the trick, and is natural for the body. Also last week I had a stomach bug and lost a good 10 pounds from basically just (forced) eating the bare minimum and drinking tons of water for a few days. What a miracle!

That’s all these drugs do too. Force you to eat less but in this case by giving you a feeling of satiation.

I’ve heard the next generation of drugs will be even better.

I recommend an Andrew Sullivan podcast from a few weeks ago on the topic. He interviews a guy who is on them and wrote a book about the benefits and risks.

The saying, "Lite is just one damn thing after another," is a gross understatement. The damn things overlap.
