Awesome. May the body accept the heart with no complications! My FIL got a new kidney at age 74...he was on the transplant list (at Mayo) for about 10 years, getting up at 4am most days of the week to go to DaVita.

And she lived a pretty good life during that time as well. She lives in my home town, Lebanon, but her docs were Cleveland Clinic. She's lucky to have a lot of family support.

When I heard she was on LVAD I thought she'd need a heart very, very soon. I guess they have come a long way.

Yeah, but Cleveland Clinic is one of the best for hearts.

May she do well and live many more years.
