Buscemi beaten up

That guy looks like a personal trainer or something. I wonder if Buscemi called him an N word while they walked past each other. I'll wait for further information before rushing to any judgments. But for now - the situation seems pretty racist, on Buscemi's part. Just IMO.

Again, I extend a kudo (yeah, only one) to you for pointing me to the obvious solution. I blame my old, white male status for not thinking of that. However, being the son of immigrants, hopefully I'll earn some forgiveness for my (admittedly) racist world-view.

Buscemi, 66, was strolling through Kips Bay last week when a brute walked up and struck the “Boardwalk Empire” star in a broad-daylight attack – one of the latest unprovoked assaults in the five boroughs, law enforcement sources told The Post.
The actor suffered swelling to his face and left eye and was taken to Bellevue Hospital for treatment.
Meanwhile, his deranged assailant took off and is still on the lam, police sources said. Not to detract from poor Mr. Buscemi's clearly quite terrible experience, but the NY Post really does feature journalism at its finest.

Any “on the lam” sighting is a good sighting. Let’s celebrate the oldies but goodies.
Particularly when the person involved is a brute.
It's almost as if Raymond Chandler had skipped English lit classes and gone to media studies instead.

Before becoming a full-time actor, Steve Buscemi was a fireman in the Fire Department of New York. On 9/11, he went to the WTC site and worked for a week trying to dig up, living or dead, his 343 ex-colleagues in the FDNY who were still missing.
