First time I've heard of that. I didn't see any last night at all. It's said the naked eye could not but the camera could.

Depending on timing/lighting, naked eye could see a fair amount over here. (but yeah, good cameras help)

@jon-nyc When the Mrs and I were out (11:30 or so) it was still a little overcast, but it broke up eventually. Our twins love this stuff and have way more patience than me.

Some places (like the tower) had the right elevation and clear views, but too much light pollution..others nice and dark, but trees and such in the way. A local lake had the best areas where they could be clearly seen without special camera settings.

I heard these were really spectacular.
I also heard farmers seeding had their GPS systems knocked down for quite a while. I didn’t know this but GPS guided seeding is real important for accuracy and cost savings for big farms.
