Backup Tragedy

I took care of a guy who was teaching his daughter to drive. He was standing in front of the car as she pulled into the garage, and, rather than braking, she accelerated, pinning him between the car and the wall.

He ended up a paraplegic, with all of the attendant complications - kidney infections, stones, pressure sores....

What a tragedy.
