The coyotes are out and about…

Our Border Collie woke me up to let me know she needed a quick walk… Quick indeed… We got about 50?feet down the street before we heard the coyotes start yipping. It sounded like two were fighting… And close enough that Dakota decided she could do her business right there and get back to the house.

Got back to bed and then I could hear the coyotes going at it got a while. After that, an owl started up. Now the owl has been joined by some mockingbirds and robins. It’s 12 frigging 30. What the hell are those birds doing up?

This is going to be a long night.
