No, no no... he was asking them to pause and think about it. Remember when Jeb asked people to please clap? Same idea.

Trump is nowhere near as bad as this.... but he's not as engaging and funny as he was at 69 back in 2016. He's 77 now. He'll be 82 when we finishes his term.

          The jokes on us.

I shudder to think about what Trump will be like at 80, with all of his filters gone and no need to moderate his behavior as President.

Yup. I have said this before, but I "think" that as demented as President Biden is, he has his handlers to keep him inside the guardrails. I dont think that President Trump has that.

That might be a fair assessment. Might.

If you think Biden has been relying on "handlers," at least you know these "handlers" have a pretty good track record.

Trump's conduct sucks[1] with or without "handlers," and if you do not believe Trump has "handlers" now, how sure are you that he won't have handlers in the next 4+ years as he ages even more? At that point you will indeed be dealing with "unknown handlers."

Really the question is, do you elect Trump (possibly a convicted criminal by then) or essentially Kamala, who Biden will hand the controls to in 2025 or 2026.

Honestly, keep Biden. He's a known quantity, as is Kamala, and it would make 2028 a heck of a lot easier for DeSantis to win. And with the economy still in question, I don't think that's something Kamala will be able to run on.

The thing that also amazes me is the large number of very very close associates of President Trump who have said either directly or indirectly that he is not fit to be President. It is not the friend of a friends wife whose neighbor works for the secret service who said that President Clinton is a bad guy.

These are people who spent HOURS AND HOURS EVERY DAY working with him - probably saw President Trump more than his wife. I may or may not agree with these peoples policies and philosophies, but I definitely give weight to their assessment of President Trunp.

Yes, that's a good case for Biden. The people who know Trump the best - don't think too highly of him. Looking back at past Presidents, I can't think of too many of their minions/colleagues who do such denigration of their leader.

Chief of Staff John Kelly described Trump as an "idiot" - ‘the most flawed person’ he’s ever met.

Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin said Trump is an “idiot.”

Chief of Staff Reince Priebus also described Trump as an “idiot.” “A person that has nothing but contempt for our democratic institutions, our Constitution, and the rule of law.”

Secretary of State Rex Tillerson referred to Trump as a "F'ing moron."

Steve Bannon said that Trump was “like an 11-year-old child,”

National Security Advisor H.R. McMaster referred to Trump as a "dope" with the intelligence of a "kindergartner." “

Economic Adviser Gary Cohn referred to Trump as "dumb as sh.t."

At the same time, the argument for Trump is fie upon both parties who are nothing but thieves who are there to enrich themselves at the expense of the public. I keep remembering Harry Truman's injunction that any politician who gets rich at the expense of the public is a crook - well, it would then follow that we have a lot of crooks running our country. Trump may not provide an immediate solution, but he's a disruptor who might pave the road to something better.

You don’t remember well. The Trump tariff on Canadian steel and aluminum was very real and there was no distortion of what your American Moses said to justify his actions:

Maybe you should get your news from sources other than the Murdochs and your local coffee and donut shop.

To be fair, a number of them would likely vote for a red-arsed baboon before Joe Biden, or pretty much any Democrat.

                                          I was only joking
