What are the charges for disrupting people's lives to this extent anyway? With creative charging and jury instructions, I'm very sure a properly motivated prosecutor could get these protestors punished severely. Not that that would happen, without a cultural shift.

60 were arrested in Chicago (much to my surprise). I wonder how many will be free on bond - we're a "no-cash bail" state now.

And how many will show up in court.

Someone pointed out that Chicago Police have no jurisdiction over this. The tollroads and interstate are policed by the Illinois State Police. Don't know if it makes a practical difference, but there you go.

This is why we have the death penalty.

Imagine the penalties imposed on "white supremacists" if they did this sort of thing.

Walk through the protest and hand out MAGA hats and see what happens…

I think an hour of incarceration for every person's hour you wasted would be pretty fair, although there could be an argument made for a day rather than an hour. So let's say on a Chicago freeway you held up 24,000 people for an hour. That would be 1,000 days in jail. Seems proportionate.

They should get what pro-lifers are looking at for blocking the sidewalk to an abortion clinic.

Naw, I’d just throw them over the bridge rail.

                    Why waste time with paperwork?

Nets are even better, leave them there for everyone to see.

yeah, but you still have to do something to get them out. I'm thinking wood shampoos would be better. Any time you think your political ax to grind supercedes your fellow citizens' right to pass unimpeded you have a whacking coming.

I truly do not understand how the cops (such as in the first video) are just parked there watching them. They should be immediately arrested for <whatever> on a public roadway.

Like Jan 6, I guess the police could shoot one of them, but the target probably wouldn't be a veteran.
