Our hot water heater is in the basement, so faucets/showers above can take a minute or two for the hot water to get there if they've been off for a while. I've read on the google (and a neighbor) about a hot water recirculation system. I had a couple questions if anyone here's had them before.

In short, it keeps hot water slowly flowing through the hot water line and recirculates it back to the hot water here through the cold water line. It doesn't waste water, just moves it internally until the water is used.

Thanks - I found most of my info online, but curious of any personal experiences here. Going to have a plumber come out and take a look too.

After making spaghetti, don't throw the water out. Instead, put it into a vacuum sealed container, and store it in the refrigerator until you need to take a shower. Scalding water remains scalding for up to 4 weeks when refrigerated properly.

          Education is extremely important.

You can recycle pee at least a handful of times.

            Please love yourself.

All of which is TNCR-speak for “I have no idea”.
