    1. Window tints that dark should be illegal and subject the vehicle to immediate towing, a fine and removal of window tint before the vehicle can be reclaimed.
    2. Plain clothed cops should never, ever make a routine traffic stop. Period.

I want to know more about this. Why was this the case?

Yeah, especially for a supposed seatbelt violation. Plainclothes? On a residential street?

I wasn't aware of this: "Reed was out on pre-trial release for a variety of violent felonies related to a shooting he allegedly committed. Did the officers run his tag and know who he was? "

I’m mostly curious what Mr Reed looked like at his high school graduation. I hope by some miracle I will chance upon such a photo.

Someone found his mugshot from 5 months ago.

These sorts of cases keep right wing punditry alive. It shouldn’t take advocate journalists to do a fair job. But we’re left with Matt Walsh to report these stories as they are.

I think the seatbelt statement was BS. You couldn't tell if Santa Claus was driving that vehicle, due to the window tint.

Besides (and I haven't seen the whole video from when the decision to stop him originated), that's a helluva lot of cops for a traffic stop. And a lot of plainsclothes guys for most things.

As for why plainsclothes guys shouldn't make stops...It leads to confusion. Any perp can have lights on an unmarked car. You want a marked car with a uniformed officer to make the stop.

Windshield: Non-reflective tint is allowed on the top 6 inches of the windshield.
Front Side windows: Must allow more than 50% of light in.
Back Side windows: Any darkness can be used.
Rear Window: Any darkness can be used.

Tint reflection for SUV and vans:

Front Side windows: Must be non reflective, state law is not specific about what this means.
Back Side windows: Must be non reflective.

Do you attribute that to the fact that you are white? Or that you didn’t pull a nine and try to bust a cap in their ass?

I think it was a little bit of both.
