Is the Easter egg a religious symbol? It always looked pretty pagan to me.

The rest of this is typical Biden BS. God, just talk about Easter as being what it is - he shouldn't be ashamed of or avoid talking about being a Christian just as we shouldn't be ashamed of eating our own body weight in holy chocolate.

Hopefully his opponent will make up for it by posting something suitably spiritual.

    With the emphasis on BS.

The guy who claims to be a devout Catholic supports abortion up to the time of birth - and if not support, certainly doesn't condemn it.

He also makes a point of pandering to the Muslims celebrating Eid al-Fitr.

Politics is optics, and this just looks bad.

We don’t want to have religious symbolism at our Religious Holiday Celebration!

I would have never known about the day the White House is celebrating. Probably got lost among all the other celebratory days...

I won't believe that until I see a photo of him holding a bible in front of the church tomorrow.

For that matter, the Rainbow is a Christian symbol. Better not have any Rainbow eggs during the Day of Visibility.

It doesn't. However, the rainbow was a symbol of God's covenant with man after the Great Flood, wasn't it? And a symbol of the promise to never destroy the world with water. Originally it was not Christian.

I've always been a little concerned about the excessive amounts of incest that must have gone on directly after the flood.

So much for getting rid of sin.

Pretty confident rainbows even predate the dinosaurs. Something to do how the laws of physics act upon the refraction of visible light in the atmosphere. Nothing to do with man made organised religion at all.

                                  Elbows up!

Well yeah. TDOV has been on March 31 since...2018?

                                    Okay, then.

Pretty confident rainbows even predate the dinosaurs. Something to do how the laws of physics act upon the refraction of visible light in the atmosphere. Nothing to do with man made organised religion at all.

All items in iconography predates man’s attempts at explaining the universe. Cats predate the ancient Egyptians. The stars and their formations predate ancient Greeks and sailors. That’s irrelevant to the conversation. The story of Noah and the flood predates the existence of Judaism and Christianity, but the symbolism involved is in both religions. Biden was explicit. No religious imagery at the Whitehouse tomorrow.

But it's only for children of the National Guard.

Presumably other religious imagery is OK.

                                        Right?

Will the Sisters of Satan make an appearance?

                                        Actually...

Children also can't promote material that promotes "bigotry, racism, hatred or harm against any group or individual or promotes discrimination based on race, gender, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation or age" in their designs.

Can I say that my Easter egg painting of Christ on the cross doesn't promote "discrimination based on...religion?"
