A colleague and I went to a very over-priced steakhouse near Katie, but stupidly left our laptops in the trunk of the rental SUV so they were visible. When we came back to the car we had extra ventilation and a noticeable lack of computing power.

The cop managed not to call us morons, but I think it was pretty close. The PC's were so locked down they'd be unusable by anybody else, so it was really a lose-lose.

Well, I broke my vow and went back into the accursed Buc-ee’s. Wasn’t nearly as crowded but was driving a Tesla and needed a supercharger. I have to say while I still don’t see the attraction it as a much better experience.
