I don't think in terms of charts, to be honest. I think in terms of how I live and what I can afford.

Case in point... I was building pickups online yesterday. Not that I really need on, my old 2011 is running pretty good, but I thought I would check. Base F-150 XL, 2WD with a Coyote V8. A single cab is $4OK. A double cab is $46K.

That's about as spartan as they come. Go to a higher trim level and you're going to come in at $60K. Go to a 4WD King Ranch in a 3/4 ton diesel and you can tear up $100K by the time you pay tax.

But back to that single cab work truck...If you're making $25/hr and you need a new truck for your one-horse business, how do afford it and buy groceries?

So what can (or will) president Trump do to make the truck affordable?

Abso-fucking-lutley nothing. On the contary he’ll put tariffs on foreign sourced parts and make it more expensive.

But he resents the right people, so he’ll get 70MM votes.

          What will Trump do?

First, he'll quit dangling the Green money in front of the automakers. Secondly, I think he is going to be aggressive in promoting domestic vehicle manufacturing over imports. Third, I believe he'll probably ease some of the ridiculous Fed standards for fleet fuel efficiency. Part of what makes pickups so expensive, are the unnecessary gadgets they are saddled with, such as twin turbos, AFM, Stop/Start, 10-speed automatics, GDI, etc.

BTW, Trump got over 74M votes in 2020. I think he'll top 80M in 2024.

Your post made me think Jolly. It is interesting that the majority of top US made vehicles are from "foreign car brands" (Honda, Lexus, etc).

Well, I bought one. It's just a regular KJV with just one slight difference is that Exodus 20:17 says, "Thou shalt commit adultery."

Better not tell that to his good buddy, Elon.

Actually, according to Trump, Elon purchased his support for EVs.

No way. The historic House of Orange is well known for its protestant beliefs. According to Wiki, it was founded by William the Silent. Mr. Trump is making up for that.
