Elon & Lemon

A long interview, but I am often intrigued when Elon speaks. He's clearly smart (PayPal, Tesla, SpaceX, Twitter, etc.) and sometimes it's fun to watch a very rich person give opinions without caring much how it impacts their wealth. Anyway, I guess this is an interview that mad Elon cancel Lemon's X deal (promoting his new self-produced show, similar to Tucker).
I planned to only watch segments, but got sucked into the whole thing. Not to bias the jury, but I found it interesting to see Elon's logic trample Lemon's agenda. For example:
- Lemon pushes Elon's support of Great Replacement Theory but Musk shows how it's really just a numbers / incentive game
- Lemon says he's all for free speech, but Musk calls him out on his hidden desire to censor things he doesn't like

I think there is a theme to Musk's answers (and why they resonate with me). He is very cold and mathematic about his answers. Great replacement theory? No, but if 12345 illegal immigrants come into the US, it absolutely affects election numbers. Hateful content on X? Doesn't like it, but won't remove it if it's not breaking a law. DEI standards? Are people being killed because more non-whites are becoming doctors? No, but if standards are lowered then the probabilities of surgical errors will go up. It's very math/legal based... Lemon doesn't like that.

One of the things that I think Mr. Musk is a hypocrit on is his saying he is all for free speech, but then bows to the government of mainland China - I think because of his desire to sell more cars there. I guess money > free speech.

I've interviewed many world leaders, presidents to convicts, and no one has been more sensitive or touchy than Elon Musk. And during the interview and during other interviews, he constantly says he doesn't care what people write or say about him. For someone who doesn't care about what people write or say about him, he sure does care about what people write or say about him. He's not used to being held to account. He's not used to having to answer to anyone, especially someone like me who doesn't share his worldview, who doesn't look like him. You know what I'm saying? When I questioned him about things that he put out on social media, posted or tweeted, that weren't factual, it was very uncomfortable for him. To the point to where [he and his team] wanted to see the interview before it aired. Which was a a big capital N no.

What comes through painfully clearly in the interview is how dumb Lemon is. Not dumb as in libtard, just dumb as in unable to think on his feet at all. He should not be anywhere near a job in front of cameras interacting with intelligent people. And he wouldn’t be, but for the identity bona fides he has squeezed his career out of.

Yeah when he tried to ask Musk during the free speech portion, "but would you allow child porn on X?" it was funny to watch Elon reply, "no... I literally said if something is illegal we won't allow it."
Or at the end of that segment, I like this part.
Elon: Freedom of speech is only relevant if people you don't like say things you don't like, otherwise it has no meaning.
Lemon: I do think there are, there should be guard rails. And I believe in free speech. As much as you.

Lemon: I don't agree with a lot of what you put out on social media, but I'll fight for your right to say it.
.....Ok, that is not true. You absolutely are fighting AGAINST someone's right to say something you don't like. The whole segment was Lemon saying some hateful things should be removed from X.
I wish Elon had made the analogy that X is a bit of a public square. You'll hear lots of things you don't like, but try to ignore it so it doesn't get attention and views.
