In about an hour...

Successful launch.
Successful hot stage separation.
Booster lost on reentry.
Successful orbital insertion of the ship.Worth watching (go full screen) just for the spectacular views of the ship climbing through the clouds and into space.
Attempting reentry of the ship in about 30 minutes.
Wow.

Watch liftoff - do it full screen. Really...
Hot-staging.
I was wrong. Starship did not achieve orbit - that wasn't in the plan. The plan was to achieve orbital velocity, which it did. Also, the booster was not planned for a soft landing.
Then, using Starlink satellites, we got to see reentry through the atmosphere.
Remarkable.

Kinda funny reading all the press.
Along the lines of ...
"SpaceX has had its third attempt at launching Starship blow up in its face."
"Starship crashes into Indian Ocean."
AFAIK, every goal of the mission was met. Soft landings were never part of the mission plan. This was a mission to learn about rockets. SpaceX is spinning it as a success.
If you meet your goals, it's a success, amirite?
It's almost as though as they hate Elon Musk.
