The boy got a new PR in dead lift. 305. Squatted 285.

    15 1/2. 175lbs.

    Only non-witches get due process.

I took the boy-NYC challenge and tried to bench with my 100 lb dumbells. I have no idea when the last time I took them off the rack was, probably decades. They felt heavy. I was hoping mostly not to injure myself. Got 10 reps, which surprised me. Boy-NYC and I are basically the same age, from an historical perspective. And the same weight, from a cosmological perspective.

OK, I just saw this. Funny as hell.

Should he be doing that much weight at that age? Impressive, yes, but healthy?

Im ok with it. He’s a 3-4 a week gym guy, less than an hour each time. Takes his off days, rotates muscle groups. Has a spotter.

So many kids have that haircut in the high school near us. It’s like a front bangs/perm style or something. Would be interesting to understand how trends like that start. Anyway don’t tell him he’s trendy, looks like he could kick my ass.

Bet he would've beat Jon's ass in high school. 😄

I dunno. You gotta be careful with long-armed guys. Gotta get inside.

Interesting how hairstyles change and it is fairly easy to look at a picture from any period and just by the hairstyle, you know about when the picture was taken.

Especially in high school, most people look back ~30 years later and "cringe" a bit when they see themselves. LOL

(Didnt really have that problem in Taiwan. The "student" haircut remained the same for many years. For boys, no hair touching the ears had to be off the collar by a certain amount. For girls, no hair touching the collar. They would line us up the first day of school for inspection. And if your hair did not meet the criteria, they had someone right there who would cut it. 555)

Hit his (school) year-end goal a month early, benched 225.

                              He’s still not 16.

Not that I know of but he has girls interested. He more shy than he should be. My guess is the shyness will get overtaken by confidence in a year or two.
