I saw a report on Twitter that claimed the food that was dropped was expired MREs. Supposedly, one of the meals was cooked in pork fat.

No idea if either allegation is true.

If they’re starving there’s no good reason it should matter. There are times you should look a gift horse in the mouth however when you and your kids are starving is not one of them.

I admit I am skeptical of this report of five people dying because a few parachutes didn't open. How many deaths per box with a faulty parachute is that? Did all of them land on a child?
