Is that sarcasm that they should have checked with a Maori representative? I hope so because checking in with a person from every country and getting their okay could take a while.

Canada: 2,500 (2016)
Australia: 142,107 (2016 census)
Other regions: approx. 8,0002,500. In other words, next to none. They thought the word meant 'feather'. I'd tell the offended to pound sand.
