          How come "Mac and Cheese" has become so newsworthy in the last 12 months or so? A year ago I didn't even know what it is, and to this day I've never had the chance to eat it.

              Bingo! Though I think Käsespätzle is usually far better than the box version of Mac n cheese. Compared to homemade Mac n cheese, they're much closer.

                  In this part of the US, they make "up-scale" mac and cheese and treat it as though it's a real treat. It's not.

                      Yes, Maggi Fix is an abomination.

                      Real Käsespätzle are a lot of work and quite different from pasta.
