I grew up in a small city in British Columbia - we had chained shopping carts.

It's really sad how Carlson has gone off the rails.

Gotta wonder how much of it is just an act and he's trying to get clicks/views.

He certainly seems to consider the Mexican invasion of the US to be a lot worse than the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

I only took notice of him a couple years ago. I thought then he was already a yellow journalist train wreck. Nothing has changed except more rail cars have piled up behind him..

Yes, he does. And for a normal human being up until circa 50 years ago, throughout all of human history, concern for one's own society was obviously the priority. Now, it's reason to consider him unhinged.

                          It is obviously better planned.

We now have more than 11 million of these criminals here.

Making the case that we should stop this is good, not bad.

I don't think he's unhinged. I think he's a miserable excuse for a human being who is trying to distract us from the brutality of a despotic regime for some unclear reason of his own.

He's got an agenda. I find it interesting that other people seem to be teetering around buying into his bullshit.

Maybe if he saw the prices in Mexican supermarkets he'd start praising their culture too!

Some of us don't spend very many brain cycles second guessing whether we're buying into various bullshit, because some of us don't buy much of anything to begin with, at face value. This directly translates to being unafraid of hearing people out with what they have to say.

I have no opinion either way what FuCa has to say about the alleged invasion from south of the Rio Grande or elsewhere.

I do however have an opinion about how FuCa reports about issues that are happening beyond US borders and policies mouthed from US politicians that might or do impact the country I live. On both those counts he qualifies at best as a toad of a person in the guise of a yellow journalist.

I'm able to understand him in non-Manichean terms, and I often appreciate his voice. I get that good vs evil perspectives are important, and my wording triggered that. I don't see any easy, coherent way to consider him to be bought and paid for. He goes off the rails sometimes, but I attribute to stupidity what others may attribute to malice.

Well I for one don’t think he’s ‘good people’ as you put it

I'm able to understand him in non-Manichean terms, and I often appreciate his voice. I get that good vs evil perspectives are important, and my wording triggered that. I don't see any easy, coherent way to consider him to be bought and paid for. He goes off the rails sometimes, but I attribute to stupidity what others may attribute to malice.

Evil’s a strong word, not sure I’d want to go that far. I don’t think he’s trustworthy in any way. His pandering to Trump whilst saying he hates the guy behind closed doors pretty much confirms that. I think Tucker probably cares more about Tucker than anything else.

                                      I was only joking

His texts to a confidante about Trump being a jerk were in the context of Trump claiming a bunch of election fraud, which Tucker trusted he had evidence for, and reported as if the evidence existed. The evidence never materialized, and Tucker got angry. But Tucker will still vote Trump this year.

                                        Education is extremely important.
