I'm not in a position to opine on his mental acuity.
But, having said that, I'm old enough to remember when the media asked Mitt Romney, "What about your gaffes?"
But, he's a placeholder....

President Trump when asked by Sean Hannity on what his priorities would be for his second term:
"Well, one of the things that will be really great -- you know, the word experience is still good. I always say talent is more important than experience, I've always said that. But the word experience is a very important word. It's a very important meaning. I never did this before. I never slept over in Washington. I was in Washington, I think, 17 times, all of a sudden, I'm president of the United States. You know the story, I'm riding down Pennsylvania Avenue with our first lady and I say, this is great. But I didn't know very many people in Washington. It wasn't my thing. I was from Manhattan, from New York. Now, I know everybody and I have great people in the administration. You make some mistakes like, you know, an idiot like Bolton. All he wanted to do was drop bombs on everybody. You don't have to drop bombs on everybody. You don't have to kill people."
More and more, I think we should draft someone from this forum board to run. Definitely cannot be worse that what is currently being offered.

Well, we lobbied for that to be you, TG. Rainman offered to cobble up a fake birth certificate (or something like that, I forgot already) so you'd be legit.
We could arrange for your White House to never run out of seaweed rolls and everything.
Geez, what more do you want?

What makes me cringe about Biden, is that he's in his late 70's but trying to talk like he's still back in his 20's, talking cool (or what could be considered cool in the 60's - 70's).
"C'mon, Man! . . . "
In fairness, Trump makes me cringe every time I try to read through a transcript of an interview.
At least with Obama, I had to think a bit before realizing I was being fed masterful BS. But that's why I consider Obama in many ways to have been more destructive. But, he was cool. He walked cool. He could pull off being like. . . cool.
Trump was never cool, although he had the Manhattan Playboy look down pretty well, along with Broadway Joe in that era. And Biden can try to talk cool, but he's still like a white guy trying to dance disco.

Seaweed? No problem. Birth certificate, ditto.
But TG has moved up to lip-smacking tongue tacos. I couldn't do it, I couldn't even carry it home from the tongue store without ralphing in a gutter. -

Agreed, I'd imagine most of us would do a fine job if we didn't care about the downsides that come with being President (the schedule, the permanent loss of anonymity, etc). Heck, there are many people in my life and at my work who would do an organized, mature, and professional job as President.
FWIW, this would be the first election I'd be eligible to run in, since you have to be at least 35 years old. Ever since I was a kid I always knew "2020 could be THE year!" LOL, how little did I know how 2020 would turn out.

You know, that's a pretty cognizant sentence, if you knew what Trump went through when he started his term.

At least you will have something in common with him!

I don't think the world is ready for Donald Trump writing about his bowel movements.
Still, listening to him spend more time trying to pronounce Ulysses would be entertaining.

Yeah, he could title the book Ulysses in Yosemite.
