You have to be kidding me!

And Garrett hasn’t had a single sack since the beginning of November and was invisible in the playoff game. And Garrett even has an advantage in the fact that he doesn’t drop in coverage. He just rushes the passer. TJ drops on 20-30% of snaps…

The excuses that I’ve heard: Garrett was the best player on the best defense… No, Cleveland is middle of the pack in points allowed, and were not good on the road… Garrett had a better “pass rush win rate”. Pass Rush Win Rate is a statistical tool that is helpful as a predictive measure. Win more pass rushes, get more sacks or other impact plays. The fact that he had a higher pass rush win rate and fewer impact plays means he underachieved OR the metrics truly are subjective and not objective. Deciding a pass rush win is still a subjective decision and not a true statistical analysis…

Yeah, I did not have the stats, but I kind of looked side-eyed at that too. Also at Stefanski vs. Campbell as coach.

The only number Garrett has that's higher is on his jersey.

That is an absolute joke. The idea that Garrett "was partially injured" during half the season is BS. There are many players who could've won awards had an injury not hurt their numbers.

        What utter BS

Just heard on the radio: Joe Flacco winning Comeback Player of the Year over Damar Hamelin means that leading the Browns to the playoffs is even more surprising and amazing than literally coming back from the dead….
