        He died in early 09. Also cancer. He was the first forum death.

          Wow can’t believe it’s been more than 11 years! He and I used to have some heated debates. I think I thought he was a sock puppet for a long time, too.

            He definitely did his share of trolling. But he was a real guy under it all. That’s him and Lucy at my place in Brooklyn. Towards the end of his life I gave him keys to my London apartment for his chemo visits. He was living in Bristol I think by then. Or somewhere down south.

            Might have been with the girl after Lucy too.

            I talked to him days before he died. I was in London, and he wanted me to come see him. He was scared. His girlfriend called later and canceled, said he wasn’t up to it. He died shortly thereafter.

              Wow!!! I did not know it was that long (I am embarrass to say that I had forgotten he had passed).

              Who was the young lady he was married to?

              EDIT: Jon, you and I posted at the same time. Thanks for the info. It would be scary. I am not sure ho w I would react if I were in his situation.
