Why would Clay Travis do that? (I have no idea who that is.) Anyway, they are obviously not going to wear the hats he wants so he effectively did what the lady wanted. 🤷

He's a sports/social commentator that is worth quite a bit both as a social media influencer. The $794 he spent has probably already been paid back to him...

              Idiots gotta idiot.

THere's no reason for them to attack the son.

But, there's no reason that the Milano family couldn't cough up .066% of their net worth to fund the trip. Making it public just makes you look bad. A better solution would have been to just pay for it, and then, afterward say that you did.

It pays to be careful with .066% of one’s net worth. A penny saved is a penny earned.

                  Education is extremely important.

That gesture might have been resented by the parents of other team members, although I doubt her son is on a down at the heels team. Or she might have been drunk. The possibilities are endless.

How about the kids go fundraise or earn the money. That's my main gripe. Teaching the kids we live in a GoFundMe world.

I don't understand the problem. She's asking for donations. If people don't want to donate, nobody's forcing them to do so. At least she's involved with her kids and what they're doing. There's plenty of rich people who aren't.

                        I was only joking

Not a “problem” but (to me at least) normally gofundme campaigns asking for donations are for charitable reasons, or to support someone who was in an accident, or recently lost a loved one. So when a celebrity worth millions asks for donations so her son can go to Cooperstown, it’s a bit “cringe” as the kids would say. Aside from my aforementioned reasons, I dont have a problem with it. Bigger issues in the world to spend time on.

No one is forcing them to. And what people do with their own money is entirely up to them (as long as it's legal).

It just comes off as awkward.

It could be a lot worse. She could be running for President, for example.
