We’ve been told this type of shit isn’t happening. We’ve been told Trans is not a mental problem. We’re being told this is normal and accept it… FFS…
50-year-old trans swimmer shared locker room while competing against teens: ‘The girls were terrified’
A 50-year-old transgender swimmer was allowed to compete against teenage girls at an event in Canada — with horrified parents building a makeshift tent out of towels to shield girls as young as 8 in the locker room.
Melody Wiseheart, who once competed under the name Nicholas Cepeda, sparked outrage while competing during the Trojan Cup in Barrie, Ontario.“The girls were terrified,” an unidentified parent of one of the teenagers told the Toronto Sun of having to share a locker room with the much older trans swimmer.
“It’s all so confusing for the kids,” another parent said. “No one is comfortable.“Everyone is accepting of all people, but them swimming against our kids and being in a locker room with them is not appropriate.”
Wiseheart, a professor at York University, participated in several events at the event over the first three days of December, including the women’s 1500-meter freestyle for athletes 16 and older, in which she placed second.
She has reportedly been competing against girls since 2019.

I’m not disappointed, I’m disgusted.
There’s a growing trend of parents pulling their under 18 year old daughters out of these competitive sports where transgenders are allowed to compete with girls. Can’t blame them - if I had a daughter I would do the same.

It will always boggle my mind…who could support this mental illness.
For one, Castro Trudeau.

And the leader of the Conservative Party of Canada, Monsieur Poilievre who tacitly supports the current policy by saying nothing. Nor will he during election time or after, if and when he becomes PM. Why, the Conservatives are petrified the Liberals and NDP will use it as an election wedge issue.
The only one with the cajones to oppose the policy without reservation is Maxine Bernier, leader of the People’s Party of Canada which garnered about 5% of the popular vote in last election.

Decide. You want nothing or a compromise?
As much as I don't like it, a life at conception stance will not win this election. Not from any viable candidate.
Now, compare and contrast...Which political stance do you like better on abortion, Trump or Biden? In this case, I'll take half of a loaf and consider it better than nothing.
I look at the transgender issue somewhat similarly. How much of what I want can I get? I can get further with Trump than Biden.
There are several of these issues that kinda break this way. I don't think Trump is a perfect candidate. He has myriad flaws.
But geez, look at the other guy.

Trump was one of the first to put men in women’s locker rooms, which is precisely what this issue is about.

For two, Joe Biden.
Biden has sails that change with the wind. Heck in the 2000s you had Obama, Biden, Clinton(s), et al... all saying gay marriage should not be legal. But it became a popular issue so they changed their position. I am quite sure I'll be the ignorant old guy in 30 years when my kids don't understand how I couldn't (nor still don't) support legal same sex marriage. Which of course seems incredibly simple and acceptable compared to that picture above of the old man crossdressing so he can swim against girls.
