My license expired. I was not able to renew it online because my last renewal was online. It was okay though because the DMV’s shut down so they gave a 90 day grace. I was fine until July 31st. Well,I forgot. So I realized this morning and tried to schedule an appointment at the DMV (which is appointment only now). The first date they can get me in? October 12th.

Had a similar thing earlier this year. I had no license for about 2 months.

That DMV appointment only, is that because of the COVID? Seems like the traffic cop will give you a break if that's the case. They'll realize the difficulty.

Yeah they should be able to give you a break.
Especially if your record is pretty clean.
Ok, you're screwed.

I wouldn’t be ticked except the transmission on my GMC just died and rather than spend 5k for a new one, I would rather get a new vehicle. You can’t do that without a license.

You can become a journalist without a license and drunk drive with your pen and work from home.

@jon-nyc LOL, hers expired in June plus we’ve been basically a single family income for the past 16 months.
