It looks like that is just off the end of Runway 30 at Dulles.

If I had landed there, I wouldn't admit it.

“Tell us you landed there without telling us you landed there.”

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Could be worse, my wife takes our kids starting at 6 months. They literally just sit in a circle and then crawl around.

ATC and Pilot audio from takeoff to landing.

Unusual to hear a pilot give her position - across the street from Wendys

            Link to video

If I was a passenger, I might have run over to get a double with cheese.

I thought it was only in the movies where people didn't understand what someone else said, or where the radio static was so bad, or the voices so hard to understand. One would think by now the communication would be clear, but I guess even my cell phone isn't there yet. The control tower guy was particularly hard to convince I guess.

It depends who recorded what is in that video.

It may have come from here: https://www.liveatc.net/
That has been a popular site for many years.

They used to get their recordings from volunteers who are somewhere near the airport with a receiver. So it is hit and miss what kind of quality you get. I was surprised to hear the pilot on the ground, you usually don't get that. Maybe she landed near the volunteer's house.

I'm surprised how she kept her cool, even her voice didn't shake.
I would have screamed "quit questioning everything I say and LISTEN you dumfuck!!"
And then a couple of "jesus fuck we're alive" before I hung up.

I’m still not hearing or seeing what the actual problem was.

Female driver. Oh and she didn't like it when the man told her to turn north after takeoff.

In all seriousness, it was a snowy/wet day, there were large powerlines and street light poles she was able to avoid. Brava.

Fortunately there was no parallel parking involved
